The One Where We're Warriors

A couple of weeks ago, John and I along with some of our friends participated in the Warrior Dash. It was a crazy day that included a 5k along with several obstacles such as climbing hay bales, climbing/jumping over rusted cars, jumping over wooden barricades, tire runs, a rope climbing wall, jumping over a surprisingly high ring of fire, trudging through a "breathless bog" (aka Lake Elsinore), and finally a mud run (although it was more of a mud crawl) to name a few. The race was concluded with a music/beer/turkey leg festival. There was also a costume contest and Warrior Dash contestants were encouraged to wear their most outlandish outfit. John, of course, complied.
